Madam/Sir,
I am directed to intimate that the Department of Posts has already launched Atal Pension Yojana (APY) in all the CBS Head Post Offices w.e.f. 01.12.2015 and details of APY enrollment upto 07.12.2015 i.e. in the first week of launch of APY with subscription collection of Rs.2,52,774/- is as under:-

As you know that the Govt. Co-contribution will be eligible subscribers who joins the Scheme by 31stDecember 2015. There is huge potential under APY and a large no. of eligible rural as well as urban subscribers are still to be covered to avail Govt. co-contribution benefit by the prescribed timeline.
In this connection you are requested to display a 6 x 4 size standee or flex banner high lighting the salient feature of the scheme latest by 16th December, 2015 in all the Head Post Offices and other CBS SOs in your jurisdiction for benefit of the eligible public. A salient features of APY, PMSBY, PMJJBY and SSA along with application form of APY and APY chart are attached to this letter for information and needful action at your end. The DO letter of the Directorate in the matter is enclosed for kind reference. All Sr. PMs/PMs of GPOs/HOs are requested to open at least 50 APY Accounts before 31.12.2015 and intimate the undersigned the exact no. of Accounts opened within this time.
